Senior Director, Operations
Katherine Starck serves as the Senior Director of Operations at CFD Research, where she oversees a broad portfolio that includes Contracts, Pricing, Facilities, Safety, and Quality. In this role, she ensures operational excellence across critical business functions.
Before stepping into her current position, Katherine led CFD Research’s Hypersonics and Propulsion programs as Program Manager. Among her key accomplishments was managing the $100 million Hypersonics Ground Test Tunnel OTA in partnership with the Army’s Space and Missile Defense Command.
Katherine brings over a decade of leadership experience, including her time at Redstone Test Center managing complex contracts and large teams. She directed operations for the RTC-Wide Engineering and Support Services contract, overseeing more than 600 personnel and budgets totaling over $500 million.
Known for her integrity, clear-headed leadership, and deep understanding of government contracting, Katherine is highly regarded across the Army Test and Evaluation community.
