EVP, Biomedical, Energy, and Materials
Dr. Kapil Pant is the Executive Vice President of the Biomedical, Energy, and Materials Division at CFD Research, where he leads a multidisciplinary team developing innovative designs, prototypes, and models for micro- and nano-systems.
Since joining the company in 2000, Dr. Pant has spearheaded numerous programs in biodefense and biodiagnostics, advancing technologies in sample preparation, biosensing and detection, particulate collection, drug delivery, and computational modeling of particle and biological transport. He is a named inventor on more than 15 patents and is one of the principal developers behind the SynVivo® family of products.
Dr. Pant has authored over 75 journal and conference papers and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, as well as a Master’s in Chemical Engineering and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University.
