
EVP, Intelligence and Sensing
George Dalton is the Executive Vice President of the Intelligence and Sensing Division at CFD Research. He joined the company in December 2020 to lead its Dayton operations and continues to oversee the site’s growth and strategic direction. George focuses on strengthening relationships with local customers and advancing CFD Research technologies through collaboration with industry and government partners.
With over 37 years in the aerospace and defense industry, he brings deep expertise in the design, development, and deployment of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems, Air Support Operations, and Space Battle Management. He is also a founding member and officer of the Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) Consortium, helping shape the future of open system standards.
George holds an MBA from The Ohio State University, an M.S. in Computer Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), and a B.S. in Electronic Engineering Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi – Gulf Coast. He also completed all-but-dissertation in a PhD program in Electrical Engineering at AFIT and is a member of Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu.
