DESCRIPTION:The Technology Coast Manufacturing and Engineering Network\, TeCMEN\, was established by the Economic Development Council of Okaloosa County\, Florida in 1989 to be the premier business advocate for Science\, Technology\, Engineering and Math (STEM) industries. TeCMEN provides opportunities for innovative collaboration and advanced technical expertise locally\, regionally\, and in the competitive global marketplace. \n​TeCMEN represents more than 40 influential technology\, engineering and manufacturing enterprises and key educational and workforce development partners with STEM specializations. This group is comprised of Fortune 500\, mid-sized and small local businesses\, to include disadvantaged businesses. \nThe TeCMEN member’s president\, CEO or designated representative meets monthly to discuss business opportunities. These monthly forums allow member companies to remain aware of local business opportunities and to discuss expanding their capabilities through contract-teaming and networking. Throughout the year there are opportunities for guest participation events. \n​CFD Reseach will be an exhibitor at this event.

SUMMARY:2019 Hypersonic Technology & Systems Conference
DESCRIPTION:Sustained hypersonic flight within dense atmosphere has substantial utility. Advances in underlying technologies and integration into weapon systems offer the DOD significant enhancements in its ability to penetrate heavily defended areas and prosecute time-critical targets. Other nations are also actively pursuing these technologies; as such\, defense against such systems is also of increased interest. The technologies required to enable the reliable use of hypersonic vehicles are multi-disciplinary. This conference will bring together the best and brightest involved in the development of hypersonic technologies in a unique\, limited‐attendance forum which will facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration opportunities. This conference will highlight the nation’s investments in systems integrated hypersonic technologies for both research and development and weapon platform integration for offense and defense. This event will be held at a restricted-access level. Attendance is limited to U.S. citizens with a final SECRET clearance.
